Houston - The Heights Market November YTD 2007

         The Heights single-family home sales have increased by 97 units over November YTD 2006 with 2,212 homes sold in 2007 as compared to 2,115 last year, a 4.59% increase.

         Contracts written and pending to close year-to-date are 61 units ahead of last year for a total of 1,363 MLS recorded pending sales.  This represents a 4.69% increase over November YTD 2006.

         Homes listed and on the market in The Heights are up by 17.99% from this time last year with 1,266 single-family homes on the market today as compared to 1,073 last year.

         The Heights Average sales price is up by 12.50% and currently stands at $232,044 as compared to $206,261 last year during the same time frame.  Median price, where half the homes sold above and half the homes sold below the median price is up 14.84% and it is currently $207,000.

         Days on the market register at 77, which is 1 day less than it took to sell a home last year.

         The Heights was ranked #30 out of 46 listed on the November Houston Hotness Index because 7.6% of all listings went under contract during that one month!
