The Heights – Area 9

•  The Heights single-family home sales have increased by 87 units over December YTD 2006 with 2,397 homes sold in 2007 as compared to 2,310 last year, a 3.77% increase.
• Contracts written and pending to close year-to-date are 67 units ahead of last year for a total of 1,466 MLS recorded pending sales. This represents a 4.79% increase over 2006.
• Homes listed and on the market in The Heights are up by 17.42% from this time last year with 1,267 single-family homes on the market today as compared to 1,079 last year.
• The Heights Average sales price is up by 12.75% and currently stands at $233,801 as compared to $207,367 last year during the same time frame. Median price, where half the homes sold above and half the homes sold below the median price is up 14.75% and it is currently $210,000.
• Days on the market register at 79, which is 1 day more than it took to sell a home last year.
• The Heights was ranked #28 out of 46 listed on the December Houston Hotness Index because 8.1% of all listings went under contract during that one month!
